Who can join? Boys in grades 1st -5th grades

What do Cub Scouts do? Cub Scouts learn by doing. You can learn to tie knits, set up a tent or cook a meal on a campfire. You may also build a birdhouse, spend the night at the zoo, or hike at a nature preserve. You will learn how to help your community around you and make friends while doing it. Plus, you earn rewards for doing these FUN things in CUB SCOUTS.

Saturday, May 27th Flag Placement at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery

Posted on May 18 2017 - 1:22pm

Over 600 scouts will be gathered at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273) on Saturday, May 27th to honor our Veterans in advance of Memorial Day.   The Ceremony begins at 10:00 am and we will be placing flags in front of every Veteran's grave at 10:30am.  Refreshments will be served at 12:00pm.    This is a great family activity.  I strongly encourage everyone to make time to attend and participate.  Cub Scouts, and any Girl Scouts, that attend should be in their Class A Uniforms.   Be sure to arrive between 8:30am and 9:30am as parking for the event fills up fairly quickly.   We will gather near the flag pole as a Pack.   Come dressed for the weather as there is none to little shade (i.e. bring hats, sunscreen, and a bottle of water).  I also recommend you bring a standard footlong ruler and a screwdriver.  These will help with placing the flags in the ground.   Please contact Herb Dean (216-337-1214) if you have any questions.

May 18th - Blue and Gold Banquet - 7pm

Posted on May 15 2017 - 10:34pm

This Thursday, May 18th, we will be having our Blue and Gold Banquet.  The Banquet will start at 7pm.  Dinner will be catered.  After dinner we will have an Advancements Ceremony for the boys.   Boys should come in their Class A uniform for this event.   Because we are working to get a head count for the dinner, please contact your Den Leader or Herb Dean (216-337-1214) to let us know how many from your family will be in attendance - as soon as possible.  Also, we need help setting up and cleaning up before and after the event. We will begin setting up for the banquet at 5:30pm. If you are able to help set up or clean up, please plan to be at St. Marks at 5:30pm or stay later, as appropriate. Thank you for your support.
